Autumn night a drive through the city
the next light turning red
as we stopped I looked over to her
and the look she gave said yes
Quietly she put her arms around me
softly I put my arms around her
then it seemed that the whole world had faded
it's just our first kiss
Gently our lips slowly parted
up above the light had turned green
honestly I don't see why we waited
